Why a shipping container pool?

Why not?  Shipping containers have the perfect shape and size for a modern, enjoyable family space to cool off.  Conex boxes have intrigued me for years, the modular design is the reason they are growing in popularity as small cabins, larger multi container buildings, and now even swimming pools.  Once just a handy storage option for the farm has become a universal building product with no limitations!

We start with a "One Trip" 20' shipping container that is as perfect as possible after making its way across the ocean and cut the top off leaving a wall section from 52-60 inches tall.  Then we cut and weld a 2x3 inch heavy wall tubing to act as a top rail or coping.  The next step is to remove the wood flooring and replace it with 3/16 sheets of steel. Landings and steps are the next thing we fabricate on the end where the doors remain, giving us a storage space underneath the stairs for pool plumbing. Once all the welding is done we can prep for the two part, multi layer pool paint, the final step is to plumb the pool pump to the container, test the system, then prepare for shipping.

Container Pools Built In The USA

Advantages of our container pools are endless and hard to narrow down.  Why wait months and spend $50,000 plus on an inground pool only to be stuck with minimal options if you decide you don't want it anymore, are tired of its location, or want to be able to use it during the winter but it is to large to heat?  No worries with a BOXX Pool, our container pools are easily moved into place or around your property with a uniloader or bobcat.  once your container pool is delivered to your site or home there is no need to wait on concrete to dry or any other parts of the long build process of a traditional pool, you can simply start filling it up and plug the pump, light, and optional heater into the  electrical box a certified electrician has placed by the pool.

Our optional heated pool setup allows you to affordably heat your pool all winter by insulation the four sides, and bottom of the pool with closed cell spray foam that has a heat flow reduction of over 90 percent.  Custom insulated pool covers are available also.

The one thing we don't do that other container pools opt for is put the pump system under the stairs.  While this is extremely appealing we don't feel that it is safe to have electrical equipment in a steel box, under the stairs that is full of water.  Instead we fabricate a quick connect setup for the plumbing that goes through the wall and the pump sits on the outside like a traditional above ground pool.  The pump system does ship under the steps, and once the pool arrives it is a 5 minute job to set and connect the pump system.
